The ATtiny13V is one of the smallest microcontrollers of Atmel. Amongst others it has six digital I/Os, one analog-digital-converter and a watchdog timer. These are the main functions used at the reactive light. The option V means, that a lower supply voltage is possible. Already 1.8 V are enough for working stable. This voltage can be guaranteed over a long time by using two standard batteries in line. Because of the low power consumption, one set of batteries will suffice for several years.
Compared to older versions, as of now the cookbook is divided into two.
The proper cookbook has the focus on the fundamentals and the different variations. Thereby several examples of programs are presented.
But it is definitely written for experienced users.
For beginners is "The Basics of Reactive Lights". It describes step by step, how to build a reactive light. But for understanding the function
of the circuit and the program, the cookbook must be read. The intention is just an easy entry for beginners.
